LOOKING FOR A MIRACLE

My girlfriend is heading to Medjugorje Monday, looking for a miracle, that she can find right here at home...and she knows that.

But sometimes, it's nice to take a leap of faith, board a plane and head for the place that brought you back to God, back to your senses and right on into the sanity that has saved your life and caused you to soar. She is going back to the womb of her conversion where the hand of God so powerfully yet patiently pushed her forward, piqued her attention and paused her just long enough to think-"It kinda knocks you into your senses!"

Holy places honor the soulful yearning within by giving hope to the possibility that maybe God will pick you out of a crowd and put you on a pedestal just long enough to show the world that his power is as poignant as ever. Places like Medjugorje remind us that God exists in a powerful way...and that different people from different places all over the world hold within their hearts a common desire to know and to Love God...without reservation.

In fact, I think God sends us Miracles and messages and must see places-to keep our faith-a living and breathing and hopefully conscious faith-while reminding us that the only reason we are here...kicking and screaming and demanding our constitutional rights...is because we have been given the right to life...and the obligation to Love life with the genuine authenticity that only God can inspire.

I wish my friend a safe journey, a soul inspiring odyssey and the miracle that only the maker can maneuver for the benefit of her family and for the rest of us who will be watching and waiting for the hand of God to reach right in and rock her world!
