THE LIGHT OF LOVE

I received an e mail this week from someone I used to be very close to...and it warmed my heart.
We hadn't connected in years-divided by distance and time and tumultuous circumstances. But just that quickly, one heartfelt e mail and the great divide dissolves...into an extraordinary new beginning.

Reaching out-and touching someone is the stuff of heaven. A warm embrace, a Loving touch, a gentle kiss-feelings in harmony...that fill us with eternal truth...the power and purpose of everlasting Love.

There is no greater gift than the gift of Love...pure and simple, Love has the power to revive a slumbering soul and energize a hurting heart. Authentic Love gives the living the latitude to reach for the stars even when the twinkle is gone and the sky looks dark and stormy.

Love is the one source of energy and light, that most closely resembles the only power from which all life is born and to which all life is headed...and it is the only four letter word that has found universal acceptance and time tested appeal.

Love is the beginning, the end, the alpha and the omega...It is patient and kind, tried and true...Love truly makes the world go round...because when you give it away-it always comes back to you...In a smile, an embrace or a surprise e mail...that inspires the soul, warms the heart and heals the miles of timeless separation that may divide--but which can never conquer-the light of authentic Love.

Our Lady of Joyful Hope is a community of young men who are finding new freedom through a life of authentic truth. HRUSHIV UKRAINE: APPARITIONS OF THE BLESSED MOTHER

Twenty four years ago today, April 27, 1987 the Blessed Mother allegedly appeared in Hrushiv Ukraine with a warning and words of consolation. She came on the Feast of the Ascension, exactly one year after the nuclear reactor disaster at Chernobyl saying "Do not forget those who have died...Chernobyl is a reminder and a sign for the whole world."
