LED BY GOD
There is something sweetly satisfying about being led by God.
There are no hidden agendas, false pretenses or uncomfortable feelings.
There is only the serenity in knowing that the spirit is moving and the movement is transcending all the earthly anchors that have held us back.
I have been feeling the spirit move in my life in ways that I could not have engineered nor would I have tried. In fact, when I moved into complete and total acceptance that God is guiding me...Good things began to happen...Great things have begun to unfold and goodness has wrapped itself around me.
We sometimes grow weary of the journey, not fully understanding that our journey is the footprint that makes us who we are. Every time we take one step forward, we walk away from the past but we carry within our being, the gift of our experiences and the inspired knowledge.
God is always with us, walking alongside us, carrying us when necessary, letting us go when we pull away. He never abandons us because he is so much a part of who we are...He is the interior light of truth and Love-keeping us centered even when we feel off balance.
I am watching my own family being pulled slowly, but surely back into the light of that Love. A Love that is healing the human hurts that have held us captive and in the dark. I am watching the forgiveness that is forging a fortress of hope around those of us who are finally submitting our journey to God's guiding hand.
In our heart of hearts-if we are honest-we know when we are letting go and letting God-and when we are holding back. With god, there is the ultimate feeling of liberation and true Love, which always leads to the most miraculous moments and the feeling of good things to come.
As I have learned time and again, God's transformative Love is the essential truth that we must carry in our hearts as we travel this life. In the end it doesn't really matter what has happened or where we have been, how low we have fallen or how dangerously close we have come-to death...God will conquer every heartache and eliminate every injustice-if we surrender ourselves and our journey completely-to his guiding hand.
