MEDJUGORJE MESSAGE JUNE 25, 2010
She's docile but determined.
Aggressive yet angelic.
Resolutely relentless in her quest to guide her children.
Our Lady Queen of Peace is no wallflower, silently praying in the background for the conversion of her children. Every single day she is speaking up...Telling us what we need to do to live Holy lives...Guiding millions to her son so that he can move mountains in their lives.
For the past 29 years the Blessed Mother has been appearing in Medjugorje daily...That's 365 days a year for nearly three decades. To me that signals something serious. In fact, it is the longest running apparition that I know of in the history of humankind. Mary doesn't seem to care how old we are or how many times she has had to repeat herself, or whether or not we think she's old fashioned...She consistantly, persistantly plays out the role of a caring, wisdom inspired mom who refuses to sit back and watch us fall deeper and deeper into sinful oblivion.
The Blessed Mother in Medjugorje has been the kind of role model who engages even the most ardent critic because her heavenly request is all inclusive and never divisive...Always aiming to inspire peace in our hearts, peace in our homes and peace in the whole world.
I believe she has continued to come for so many years because so many of us-even those of us who believe-have continued to live our lives for the Love of self, not the Love of God.
Millions of lives have been touched and turned around, yet few have received the true internal healing necessary to consecrate themselves daily to a Holy, harmonious life.
Jesuit Father Anthony McGinn this weekend spoke about our rebellion against God through the sins of the flesh. Not just sexual sin, but also the sins of pride, arrogance, lasciviousness, blasphemy, greed and gossip.
Our choices have removed us from the state of God's grace which has left us feeling empty, unhappy and anxious. We lack the peace we are desperately craving because we have caved in to the insidious lies of this world.
Abortion, addiction, divorce and a general sense of social depravity is growing at an alarming rate and the sense of acceptance is even more alarming.
Pope John Paul II wrote that we must "respect" our moral conscience because it is the sanctuary where the voice of God is heard. Think about it. Our moral conscience is a sanctuary-for God! That's pretty powerful!
That's one of the reasons the Blessed Mother keeps speaking...It's a lesson for all of us moms and dads. When it comes to guiding our kids, silence is not always golden.
June 25, 2010 Message
"Dear children! With joy, I call you all to live my messages with joy; only in this way, little children, will you be able to be closer to my Son. I desire to lead you all only to Him, and in Him you will find true peace and the joy of your heart. I bless you all and love you with immeasurable love. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
